Michael Troop was born in 1967 and is a classically trained, internationally published photographer.  His thought provoking work blends American and European influences, creating pure and angelic representations of time.  His formal training includes degrees from the Atlanta College of Art, Reinhardt College, LaGrange College, and Art Institute of Atlanta.

Michael was introduced to photography at the age of 8 where he learned to mold artistic visions with a simple 110 camera.  Upon completion of his studies, he opened Aperture Studios based out of Atlanta Georgia, producing work for magazines, modeling agencies and commercial firms.  In 1991, he took his photography on the road, working throughout the US until early 1995 when by a twist of fate, he joined the US Army to broaden his experiences.

In 2000 after suffering life changing injuries during service, Michael was discharged from the military and restarted his photographic career, using photography as a means of healing.  Now based out of Savannah Georgia, he provides services throughout the US and Europe.  His studio's mobility allows him to travel internationally, capturing visions of beauty for a wide range of clients.

His photography has won a number of international awards and has been exhibited in a multitude of venues both within the US and Germany.   Michael currently produces commercial, fashion, and fine art photography for publication and exhibit.
